Platforms update, libraries go stale, integrations change behavior without warning. A system that's live isn't the same as a system that's safe. I monitor it, apply fixes and keep things running, even when the problem has nothing to do with the original code.

I do an initial code review before taking on any third-party system, to understand what I'm inheriting. The retainer covers monitoring, fixes and small tweaks; bigger evolutions are scoped as separate projects.
